I’ve set the card to WDDM mode, and it can run Uni. I’m assuming this is due to Nvenc not initializing, as parsec hosting also fails on the host OS. Should I connect via another method? I did take the 1050Ti and 1060 out, plugged into a secondary computer, dumped the vBIOS via GPU-Z, and am using that in the VM setting but it doesn't resolve the problem.ĮDIT: For what it is worth when attempting to pass the GPU through the VM does not show as online within the splashtop remote agent on my other computer. The first time I got to a login screen and then the screen just went black. However, when I change the graphics card and sound on the VM to the 1050Ti (adding onboard sound as secondary sound card) I cannot access via splashtop. I can access the VM fine when the graphics card is set to VNC from my main computer on the same network. I am currently trying to pass the 1050Ti. However, for the life of me I cannot get the GPU to pass through. My goal is to create a modest gaming VM to be accessed on the same local network via a tool like splashtop via a really lightweight access point (old computer or raspberry pi).įollowing Spaceinvader One tutorials I have created a Windows 10 VM. I have been reading forums and watching videos and can't seem to find what I am missing. ![]() ![]() What worked for me was editing my GPU's vBIOS header as tipped by u/PeteyBoPetey in his comment below. Update: Solved! Thanks for the help everyone.
